Klobuchar to headline Iowa’s Democratic convention

Minnesota’s first women U.S. Senator will be the headline speaker at the Iowa Democratic Party’s 2010 State Convention.

Amy Klobuchar was elected in2006. Before running for Senate, she was a county prosecutor for eight years. She sits on the committees for the Judiciary, Agriculture, Environment and Public Works, as well as Commerce.

This year’s State Convention will be held on Saturday, June 12 at Polk County Convention Complex. Some of the other speakers will include Sen. Tom Harkin and Gov. Chet Culver.

Everytime a politician heads to Iowa I get suspicious of their motive.

it is somewhere in the archives. I have no problem with her headlining in Iowa.
