I guess I'm not that surprised.
Ole' Savior has gone Repub and Barb Davis White is running as a DFLer against Ellison.

1. Was White a Repub? If so, the Dem Party should not accept her at all |

2. Anybody can file with the party designation of their choice |
|
it doesn't mean the party organization is happy about it or considers the person a member of the party.

6. Ellison is the endorsed candidate and will be the only candidate you will hear about from any party |

organization. Just as Kelliher is the only candidate for governor the party will help. (Unless she loses the primary and the Central Committee endorses whoever wins that).

7. If only my SD would have helped Hatch. |

The powers that be refused to include literature for him along with all the other endorsed candidates for our lit drops in my precinct.
Fuckers.

3. I wonder if Barb Davis White is taking the Tammy What's-Her-Face role this time--- |
|
You know, the "Vote for me because I'm white and not a Muslim" pitch.
I see no reason to vote against Ellison, anyway, and I doubt that most other DFLers do either.

4. Yeah, Tammy what's-her-face |
|
The IP candidate.
I agree that this is an hilarious matchup for the primary. I just thought it was interesting that White switched parties to go against Ellison.

8. Politics really is a comic book at times |
|
I laughed out loud when I read that Ole Savior had switched to the Republican party. My goodness, why doesn't the guy do something worthwhile with his life instead of making these continued futile runs for public office?
I am afraid that some of our other candidates seem right out of a comic book to me too. Emmer is so bizarre and cruel that he seems like a bad guy out of a comic book. Entenza and Kelleher with their greed and lack of self control seem to be right out of a comic book to me too.
I was heartened to see that Palin's endorsement helps GOP endorsed candidates lose elections. Perhaps we should encourage Emmer and Bachmann to have Palin come to Minnesota and campaign for them. Tsk, tsk.
