Watch this guy. People are REALLY going to start wondering about our formerly strong, wonderful state once he gets to Washington. While this is old news and it looks like Bachmann is going to be outmaneuvered, I figured I'd throw this out there.
http://www.minnpost.com/derekwallbank/2010/11/04/23098/make_that_two_cravaack_will_back_bachmann_for_leadership_postWASHINGTON — Representative-elect Chip Cravaack will support Michele Bachmann's bid for the number four job in the House GOP leadership, a spokesman confirmed this evening.
That makes Cravaack the second to publicly back Bachmann. Rep. John Kline was the first, with a spokesman confirming the support of the likely Education and Labor Committee chairman earlier this afternoon.
Bachmann spokesman Sergio Gor said her camp would not be releasing a list of supporters likely until early next week, but said she had fielded calls from "several" in the party who have offered their support.
While prospective House Speaker John Boehner has not endorsed a candidate for House Republican Conference chair, some others in the leadership have lined up behind Jeb Hensarling of Texas. His supporters include likely Majority Leader Eric Cantor and outgoing Conference chairman Mike Pence, as well as Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican who was debating a run but backed out to endorse Hensarling.
