I just wrote an huge email to our lovely Senator connected to an alert that just reached my inbox. I am hugely disappointed in Klobachar and this takes the cake. She is ill experienced in affairs of the Environment and has made a harmful and ignorant move regarding our wolf population.
Having spent over 25 years in environmental areas of this State and understanding and hearing from farmers, people, Left and Right wing of the State as well as having lived on land that a wolf pack traveled upon, I began to realize there there have not been any public mass calls to hunt wolves. Rarely a complaint. Only from Right Wing hunters and only recently. Only since Palin.
The farmers do not buy fencing. (cheap) They do not get guard dogs.(lazy) And actually I have not heard any of them complain on any significant level. But I have seen poaching. I have seen them hit by cars. I have been aware of diseases that they battle with mange and other things. I am aware of how they serve to rid the deer population of sick, old and excess deer.
This is an area extremely personal to me. She is more than just a failure in this action(s). If you wish to express your concern about this please email her even though all you will get is a computer generated auto response.
I am so angry I could blow a gasket right now. I want her out of office.
