Michele Bachmann's staff lies to cover up her Teabagger trip to Hawaii while her district freezes

When Bloomberg reporter and former Time magazine White House correspondent Margaret Carlson called Michele Bachmann for a comment on the people’s uprising in Egypt, Carlson wrote that Bachmann’s office told her the Minnesota congresswoman “wouldn’t be giving any interviews this week while she concentrates on district work.”

But according to the Grassroot Institute Hawaii, Bachmann is scheduled to give a luncheon talk at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu today—4,476 miles and 80 degrees F. from the subzero temperatures her constituents in Minnesota’s 6th District woke up to this morning.

And she never talks about the 6th in her comings and goings. It is all narcissistic stuff to try to raise her personal profile. The 6th is literally left out in the cold now and in the summer it is figuratively left out in the cold. It is like they are not represented at all.

and so is Michele's. This Tea Party fad has at least two more years to it, then there will be reckonings after 2012. While it plays to the base, the return will only be 30% or so in the general election and Palin will fade away. When the anti-intellectual sound byte gimmick wears off, both will be gone. Michele has already pissed off the GOP House leadership so she will not have a track to any real power. Soon the 6th will be sick of her doing nothing but spouting sweet crazy nothings on right wing media outlets.

4. Lying liar & how awful to work in that office

Agree with all of you - she's never in the 6th, never concerned about her constituents,, has never gotten 1 bill passed on either the State or Federal level, and yet...they keep voting for her anyway.

Doesn't she have an incredibly high staff turnover too? Now, what sane or even semi-sane person would work for her is a question (unless you're undercover), but she must be absolutely horrible to deal with on a daily basis. Not that you'd see her daily, what with her high travel/appearance/event schedule. I bet she won't commit because she's always going to "find something better", has to get Marcus to approve, etc. And probably has nonsense fits. I can't even imagine.

I mean, seriously, when has she ever "concentrated on district work"?! Other than to make occasional fundraising appearances?

Also, Ripple in Stillwater is a great blog, and he (is it Karl?) is doing excellent work. Along with Dump Bachmann, of course.
