(yes, i know it is Easter Sunday).

Many who went to the trail of the accused said that the FBI was determined to find these young men guilty at any cost. ret. Coleen Rowley and also let us know the way the FBI agents move up is by getting points on uncovering 'acts of crime" and the prosecution of those acts. Also, some become informants so they have a better chase of becoming an agent.
It will be good to see the interviews with these young men and finally hear their side of the story.

1. this documentary was very very good

Yesterday I went to the Minneapolis Film Festival to see the documetary about the 2 young men were charged with conspiracy to use Molotov Cocktails at the 2008 RNC convention and due to pressure from the Feds they took plea bargains and one just finished 2 years and the other is finishing his 1 of 4 years.
This documentary gives some Justice to these two young men and their families and shows how horrible our Federal justice is and how pathetic our news organizations are in reporting the truth.

I hope you can mention that there is one more showing of this documentary.
April 27th at 9:30pm.


I was very impressed by how good this documentary was. They were able to interview the Federal prosecutors and witnesses. They had great footage of interviews with Darby who was the undercover provocateur and you can really see how he manipulated these young men. Darby now has a conservative talk show and is on with G. Gordon LIddy.

by just showing the facts, you can see this was a injustice and that all that the Feds cared about was "winning" their case so they could validate the use of all the tax dollars wasted on targeting those who were coming to protest, and it is stomach turning to see how the Feds can get away with putting away innocent people by the use of plea bargains and intimidating the with long jail time.

These two men and their families had great strength, insight and great patriotism. Sadly though it was sad to see how very horrible our justice and FBI system is.

This story was only about these two men and there are millions in prison. It was quite something to see the true "terrorists" (all those in riot gear) on the large screen. our own "Indymedia twincities" sent in much of the footage of the 4-5 days of the RNC protests, as well as Glass Bead.

I strongly suggests going to see this documentary, you should see how your tax dollars are used.

2. New information on "Terrorism threat"

Since the RNC8 case has now cleared the courts, we now know for certain that the Welcoming Committee had a non-violent, civil-disobedience strategy to block traffic coming into St. Paul AND NOTHING ELSE.

Think back to the days when speakers came to Monkeywrench Books and urged protesters to come to the RNC. No one has a shred of evidence that the speakers urged violence in any form. All the talk of terrorism was something spun out of the fears of the FBI, Homeland Security and Sheriff Fletcher. "Law-enforcement" agents spice up their stories with hair-raising possibilities, stampeding a naive and compliant press into amplifying their fear-mongering message. Their purpose is to frighten an ill-informed public with only half the story, thereby justifying their spying and their pre-emptive raids, their fat bonuses and promotions and pay raises -- indeed their very existence. This documentary is a chance to hear the other side of the story.

None of the Molotov-cocktail-making would have happened without the involvement of the FBI. This organization causes more crimes than they prevent. If they quit trying to entrap young people, the "terrorism" rate would fall by 50%. They have too much funding and don't know what to do with it, so they go after peace activists and animal-rights groups. (Well, certainly that is a lot safer than going after the Mob.)

When you think of things to cut in the Federal budget -- try the FBI and Homeland Insecurity instead of Social Security and Medicare. Zero out the CIA. The country would be better off.

And if you can't get to see the film, it will air on the PBS show POV on September 6th. Think of it as an anniversary present.
