1. What goes up will go back down
It is inevitable with his massive screw-ups. It's also encouraging that the media is slowly, read that S-L-O-W-L-Y starting to talk about what's wrong with this administration. We have to keep screaming at them to do their jobs. Bottom line? They want US to pay attention to them. Hit them where it hurts, the back pocket and they'll do their jobs.

18. Just curious, I guess
I didn't know it was just supposed to be about 'Daddy' Bush's success' (sic) in getting a (s)Election accomplished.

5. It'll drop again....
the false euphoria over the "elections" will fade and people will wake up again. It's not like Bush is going to start doing things right any time soon!

Now if only Bush's full Social Security plan comes out and people see that trillions of dollars would need to be borrowed to allow for privatized accounts. The scary thing is... it will only hasten SS's decline.

His numbers will drop... it's not like they're actually good. The lowered expectations the administration does so well makes 51% look good.

7. I saw that. And the poll was taken BEFORE the wonderful
election turnout in Iraq on Sunday.

Place that alongside the poll reported in yesterday's paper that show the majority also approve the privatization, or partical privatization, of social security yesterday.

Depressing.

11. Even if right not more people approve......
does not mean they would vote for him. Ever. If the election was today Kerry would carry Minnesota.

12. I read that story
Our unelected idiot's approval ratings are highest among the young, the less educated, conservatives, and out of metro voters.

So basically, the dumb and the brainwashed support the war mongering, idiot son of an asshole.

I don't know how you get through to such people. I try to avoid them when I can, because it is difficult to suffer such fools.

Also: a plurality in this poll also said the country was going in the wrong direction. So basically we're headed in the wrong direction, but they approve of the person leading us in this direction. WTF?

One way to reach the dumb and the brainwashed would be to establish a connection between the unelected idiot and the fact that it is HE who is driving us off a cliff.

But to make a connection, the media has to report it. And they are under the control of the junta. What's a girl to do?

19. Short attention span
He has been a lot in the news recently: inauguration, the Iraqi election, yesterday STOT (I think, did not bother to watch).

Give him a month and this, too, shall pass.
