I would like to suggest a round table venue, one without alot of distractions.

I know a low traffic (Democratic Party oriented) coffee/tea shop in St Paul that would probably work for 15-20. (Mad Hatters)
I can check with them and maybe reserve a back room.

If Mad Hatters doesn't work out we could look at the Black Dog, also in St. Paul. I think it's near DFL HQ. DFA has a lot of their Meet-Ups there.

BTW Katinmn had a good idea for candidate. While I was running my errands today I was visualizing it. Think in terms of Wellstone's first campaign, a David v Goliath kind of thing. Other than that all I'll say is, it's one of us (and by us I do not mean Katinmn or me - though I need a job.)
