2. Perhaps if you encode it so that people can watch it?
No offense, but I am not going to download and install that Spyware infested, POS "Shockwave" just to watch your movie, no matter HOW interested I am in the content.

Sorry. Encode it again - in QT or WMP - and more people (myself included) will watch it, I think.

3. I watched it on a friend's machine...
Again - no offense, but it is pretty thin, as far as content goes...I liked the music, however, and the clever way you used the credits at the end to simulate curtains...

The painting for "The Environment" was nice, too.

Who is the woman in the film?

I feel that this film would probably have greater impact if the lines were delivered by more than one person. Perhaps by people that would seem incongruous delivering the line "I'm a Liberal because...," or Democratic members of the House or Senate? I can see construction workers with Admerican flags on their hardhats, Red State Farm Women, etc...or people like Conyers, Reid, Boxer, Kerry, Dean, etc...

Nicely done, however.

6. What more content would you like?
The woman in the film has chosen to be anonymous.

4. Yeah, well, everyone's a critic
I thought it was quite nice. The sound and the lips don't quite sync up but maybe that's just on my machine. I don't know the first thing about reformatting it for QT or MP but if you could do that it would add to its accessability. I know you've been working on it for some time so I say, congrats Eric! Way to go. :toast:

5. No, the issue of the sound and the lips being in sync isn't just
on your machine.

It's something I can look into.

Maybe I'll fix it at some point for this video or just try to avoid that problem for the next video I make.

7. Nice and, yes, problem with sync of sound and lips
also the credits at the end moved too fast. I barely read the Bach credit and missed the drawing one

I agree with others here, could be great if more people could say the same thing: a teacher, a nurse, a factory worker - if you can find any..

Perhaps, if you are going to make more videos, you may want to incorporate some paragraphs from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, famous speeches. There are plenty of references there to what liberal means. Something by FDR or JFK would be great.

Still, really nice idea. I know that it is easier to criticize than to actually do it so I hope that these are constructive and helpful.

10. I addressed some of what you posted.
I added a link for a Windows Media version, with better audio-video sync, and I extended the second credits screen.

8. I looked into the audio-video sync, and
there are formats for improving that, but if it's still streaming, then it means sacrificing something.

Like the words and mouth are completely in sync, but the video is tiny.

Or the words and mouth are completely in sync, but a picture is dropped.

9. update: For better audio-video sync,
click below for Windows Media format.

If you have a fast-connection, just click, and if you have a slow-connection, then right-click to save it to your machine, navigate to where you saved the file, and start it from there.

11. Nice job, Eric!
I remember when you were looking for volunteers for the video and based on the responses, I thought you had a large crew so I didn't show up. Glad someone did. This is nice.

Next time Eric asks for volunteers -- show up!!

14. I expanded the video.
It now has a list of liberal victories.

It's about 4 minutes.
