1. My mother is coming to Austin because she couldn't find it MS
She lives in Gulfport, and she planned her summer trip around the release of the movie.

Glad to see the truth is almost beginning to trickle into Mississippi, although it is interesting that only one theater near the coast is showing it. With a Democratic representative, two military bases, one national gaurd base, and a heavy tourist industry, you'd think Gulfport and Biloxi would show it.

3. I am in Biloxi and was planning on going to New Orleans
but now I can catch it in Gautier, which is the city right next to Pascagoula -- Trent Lott's home town!

Pascagoula, home to U.S.S Navy Home port, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Chevron refinery --------- YAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thank you Michael Moore.

6. Yeah, Trent should love that. You should invite that chef from Chappy's
with the goofy hat. Maybe he'd learn something, dumb Lott-supporting goofball that he is.

This is practically Medieval I know....but....this is a JFP blog about the effort to bring Fahrenheit 911 to Jackson back in late June. I bring this up because the petition drive, Fahrenheit 601, has now evolved into an effort (in conjunction with The Crossroads Film Festival), to bring MORE independent films to Jackson. See the above links for membership details. The more members they have, the more likely that distributors of independent films will take Jackson seriously.

All films will be shown at Parkway Place at 7:30p.m. ( Map to the theater)

Films showing in the next two weeks are:

Coffee & Cigarettes --SEPT. 13
Super Size Me -- SEPT. 20

Beats driving all the way to New Orleans, Memphis, and Birmingham to see these films, doesn't it?
