Jackson Mayor trying to bring in National Guard to thwart crime
Our whacked out Mayor wants to bring in the National Guard, military Helicopters and a 7 pm curfew on kids to stop crime in the city. Gov. Barbour says he has no ability to do so, but the mayor is telling him he's not looking for permission, just letting him know. This should be fun.

1. Frank just declared a state of emergency (Thurs.)
I'm not sure what that means, but he's talking about an 8:00 PM curfew now.

3. And now the AG is after him
Jim Hood (AG) has asked all of the local news stations to turn over videos of Frank from this past week. Apparently they show Frank totin' his Glock in places that the AG told him he could not. It gets better every day around here.

7. asking about recall
I've e- mailed my city councilman,Marshand Crisler, and the city clerk to get copies of the city charter to find out just what it's going to take to get a recall election. Had enough.
