1. Where are the Mississippian?
Here's one in Hattiesburg. I'm still trying to figure out how I wound up living in the most Republican state in the union. Maybe its because I was born here and never had sense enough to move to a more progressive state. What really bothers me is that when I meet someone new, they automatically assume that I'm a Republican since everyone else around here is, and they start spouting all that BS. Anyway, you're not completely alone.

Were here! Just went to a watch party the other night for the Obama speech, were here and involved! Just don't have much of a voice here when all the yelling is from the Reps.

My partner & I went to Ole Miss in the late 90s, and we're returning to live just south of Hattiesburg in mid-2011! Can't wait!

We'll have a front-row seat to all the meltdowns when Obama is re-elected in 2012..

5. Hattiesburg has grown quite a bit since the 90's.
Oxford has too, but not quite as much! Oxford is such a beautiful town.

7. Mississippian By Heart ..
I was born in Vicksburg and raised in Southaven. Moved to San Francisco, CA about 15 years ago. I love it here for the open-minded nature of The City, but I still love my home state and miss my friends and family there. I usually visit once a year for Christmas.

8. I'm here
Checking in from d'Iberville. Stayed here after retiring from the service in 94. Was cheap living here, but after the hurricane, I can't afford the insurance. Looking to move.
