"Picnic for the Party"
Summer Friends and Family Patriotic Picnic

Food, fun, and games for all ages.
We need you, your friends, and your family.
You are all invited.

WHEN: Sunday, August 28th 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
WHERE: Swope Park, Shelter 7
WHY: Just to gather and enjoy being progressive Democrats
together. WHAT TO BRING: Bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or
snack to share
at the picnic, and your table settings. We will provide a limited
number of picnic paper products.
DIRECTIONS: Shelter house 7 is near the intersections of Oldham
and
Hillcrest roads. Take I-435 to Gregory. Take Gregory West, around
the lake to the Y in the road. Take the left leg of the Y and
follow it South to the intersection of Oldham and Hillcrest. A

3:00 to 5:00: MEET AND GREET – Snacks and games provided
- Games
such as water balloons, dominoes, cards, kick ball, and bean bag
toss, or any game that you would like to bring with you to share.
5:00 – 6:30: PICNIC DINNER TIME – Lemonade, water,
ice tea, drinks,
hotdogs, bratwurst, polish sausage, rolls, veggie burgers (for
the vegetarians), chips, condiments, and ice cream provided by
GKCDFA.
6:00 – 8:00 - MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT FEATURING:

PLEASE NOTE:
The shelter has electric outlets, lights, water, and porta
potties. It has some tables, two grilles, swings, and is well
shaded by trees.
Any willing donations to help defray the expenses will be greatly
appreciated.
