Harpool May be an Option if Kreider Passes
Many SWMO Democratic activists were hoping that Jim Kreider would file to run for US Congress to replace the ethically challenged Roy Blunt. While we are still actively seeking his cooperation in this, with the filing dealine a few days away, we need to make other efforts with other potential candidates.

A SWMO political science professor (who I trust) has suggested:

-Springfield Attorney and former Missouri Representative Douglas Harpool. He helped draft Missouri's campaign finance laws and would be a good choice given Blunt's Lobbying/ethics trouble.

The firm Lathrop & Gage doesn't seem to list him as a current attorney... Anyone know more about this guy, particularly who has in-roads with him and how we can approach him?
