I just emailed my state senator and rep about this voter id bill. I turned their mailboxs blue, If this sleazy excuse for disenfranchisement ever sees the light of day then we definitely will have hit bottom.

1. Talked to a Dem state rep last night at Truman Days here in KC

He says the more stupid bills they pass the better their chances of being thrown out of office in November.

Seems kind of risky to me, but it does make a certain amount of sense.

2. That's been their strategy

and I'm pissed enough to withhold my vote and not work on campaigns.
They are letting all kinds of crap pass on the assumption that they will take over and undo it all. They are arrogant to the point that those of us who deal with them regularly just have a general feeling of anti-incumbancy.
