Democracy dead in Boone County
Well, it's official. Boone County no longer has open elections as County Clerk Wendy Noren announced the arrival of touchscreen voting screens just in time for the August 8 primaries. From now on, every election will be in doubt.

I'm not sure how much pressure Noren's been under to use these machines, so I won't blame her for it.

2. I tell you what. I'm going to make a big stink inside the voting room....
about them. I'm going to make sure everyone in the room knows the truth about these machines.
