"Vote Miscount is Already Happening in MO"
On a touchscreen, press Claire McCaskill (D), get a confirmation message for Jim Talent (R.)

From a Daily Kos diary by Permanent Midwest Exile:

A friend of our family's went last Friday to early vote in Maplewood, MO. He voted for Claire McCaskill, but each time he, the election worker, and the election supervisor pressed the screen for Claire, the screen said he had voted for Jim Talent.

I sent this info along to a friend that works in Claire's campaign.

Maybe this is just a software glitch, but I wonder how many other people this is happening to in Missouri.

4. I'm in New Hampshire and vote on paper ballots.
You ought to post this in General Discussion so more people see it. The other poster who plans to capture their voting on video has an excellent idea. Everyone going to the polls who can do that, should. Then, if the darn screen starts showing votes for the wrong candidate, there will be no disputing the fraudulent machines.

5. I'll be damn sure to watch for that when I go...
sheesh. And, I'll have my video-taking phone with me (not that I know how to get the video OFF the phone, but I'm sure that can be done if need be).

7. Wouldn't the election worker and election supervisor do something?
One would believe they would report this "glitch" to the "proper authorities," especially if it happened over and over. Then it would be a public record, at least, from an authoritative source.

I can't believe we're just going to sit back and let this happen again!
