Good work by the Obama campaign in Missoula

I have been telling my daughter she HAS to vote on Tuesday, but she didn't think it would matter. "I'll vote in November when it mattered." I had let it slide, figuring I would nag her on Tuesday.

Today she called and said, "I'm voting on Tuesday." The Obama campaign had called her (she had apparently signed up at a bus stop.) They told her there would be a poll set up at the university center on campus. "So I'm voting." School is out, but they still took the time to call the students.

And I did tell her how amazing it is that the very first time she votes in a presidential election she gets to vote for and African American or a woman. "And I'll get to do it again in the fall," she replied.

So thanks Obama campaign.
