1. Sometimes quiet is nice... how you doing?
I dated a girl from Neb. once. Gorgeous. Fun. Boy could she drink.

2. Yeah, I suppose it is. What can we do except say 'sorry America,
Nebraska is not what one would call a progressive state'.

Have you heard of the Purple Brigade? They thing that there's enough Kerry/Edwards support here in Nebraska that our votes could just end up being split, that is if Kerry/Edwards could pull of a majority in one of the voting districts.

As sad as it makes me feel, I just can't see that happening. What do you think?

4. Don't know, was just something I saw on the news one night. A woman
talking about the possibility of splitting the vote and how they're going to campaign harder so it happens. Then next (of course) a male republican saying that it never will.

Tried to find you a link. Googled and looked at Omaha.com for a news story. Sorry.

Call Dem Headquarters (maybe I will) tomorrow and see what they know about it.

5. This could be the election where it happens.
I have never seen as much support in Nebraska for a Democratic Presidential candidate as I have in the last few months.
The Democratic parties in both Lincoln & Omaha have been growing stronger & more active in the last year.
