Sent late last night, I was really pissed and didn't sign it so I know it won't get printed. Here you go: ----------------- That has to be the single most asinine endorsement I've EVER read, and I've read at least 20 this last 2 weeks alone. Your last line dealing with the virtue of single-mindedness is telling because it shows how simple minded you people really are. Your use of a mysterious poll, not saying when it was taken, what the sample was or anything else, shows your contempt for the intelligence of your reading audience. Anyone not living under a rock can tell you that polls are clearly showing that John Kerry has made great strides in the minds of open minded people around this country concerning his ability to lead the war on terror. The use of fear is nothing new in society, but to have a newspaper blatantly appeal to the fears of its readers is despicable. George Bush was President on 9/11, the attacks on the towers and Pentagon happened under his watch. If he had taken the threat seriously from the beginning it might never had happened. I want you to read what was written by a newspaper in Bergen City, NJ:
"If you hired someone to manage your affairs, but he spent all your savings and drove you deeply into debt, you would fire him. If he insulted some of your oldest friends and turned them against you, you would fire him. If he put your children in harm's way, risked their lives, and misled you about the reasons, you would fire him." George Bush lied and now 1100 soldiers are dead, we need to fire the liar. George Bush is an embarrassment to this nation, and because of this ridiculous fear mongering endorsement your newspaper is an embarrassment to the people of Nebraska. As far as I'm concerned you just lost a customer.
