Voter deadlines

Deadlines loom for Nebraskans who haven't yet registered to vote in the May 13 primary and for those who wish to vote by mail.

APRIL 25: Final day to register at Departments of Motor Vehicles, libraries, certain state agencies such as Health and Human Services and with deputy registrars. Those delivering registration forms on behalf of another person must submit the paperwork to the proper county election commissioner or county clerk by the end of the business day. Final day to postmark mail-in registration forms.

MAY 2: Last day to register in person with county officials who oversee elections: the election commissioner in some counties, the county clerk in others.
