Voters across Nebraska got to examine two Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate on Saturday. When Scott Kleeb took the stage in Lincoln, they got to see why the Omaha World Herald called him “the cowboy scholar...
soft-edged rhetoric and thoughtful demeanor.”
Whether discussing the war in Iraq, the struggling economy, or our energy and agricultural needs, Scott had a detailed plan to get America back on track.
Scott’s vision and thoughtfulness so impressed his opponent that, on almost every question, our opponent simply praised Scott’s answer and repeated his own biography. There is no debate: Scott Kleeb is the candidate most ready to get to work in Washington.
We also broke some personal news at the debate: Scott’s cousin is now engaged to our opponent’s son. Congratulations to them both! We hope this means that Nebraskans can look forward to a final two weeks of positive campaigning.
Will you chip in $50 to support a clean campaign? We need the resources to keep up with our wealthy, self-funding opponent. We know that when voters get to know Scott, he becomes the overwhelming choice for change.
DUers 4 Kleeb. I'd take any amount: http://www.actblue.com/page/du_for_kleeb
Look forward to frequent updates as we head down the stretch. If you haven’t signed up to volunteer yet, please visit our website and do so today. Together, we can send Nebraska’s brand of change to the U.S. Senate.
Thanks for your support,
