Time running out to register to vote

LINCOLN - Time is running out to register to vote and obtain early ballots for the May 13 Nebraska primary election.
The deadline for voter registration, which includes party changes and address updates, is 6 p.m. Friday at county election offices, Secretary of State John Gale said.
Voters have until 4 p.m. Monday to ask for an early-voting ballot to be mailed to their homes. Mailed ballots must be returned by the 8 p.m. CDT close of polls May 13.
People have until May 12 to vote early in person at their county election offices.
