NE Dems holding their own fundraiser opposite McCain's

This from an e-mail I got today.

John McCain is coming to Nebraska, and I want you to stand with us and reject his vision for our country.

This Wednesday, John McCain will be holding a high-dollar fundraiser at the SAC museum in Ashland, Nebraska. According to reports, about 250 people have signed up to attend. The minimum ticket price for the event is $1000, but some Nebraskans will be forking over $50,000 per couple to get a picture with McCain and join him at an elite reception.

In light of this, I'm proud to announce the NDP will be holding a counter-fundraiser on Wednesday afternoon. But we won't be asking for $50,000 - we figure $5 for a hotdog and a picture with our candidates will show Nebraskans which Party truly has the interests of middle class Nebraskans in mind.
