Someone is finally letting voters in CD3 know they have a choice besides Bush-donating former CEO Tom Gallagher:

"George Matthews, DeVoe's campaign director, said supporting a candidate based solely on money prevents the party from running a strong candidate in the general election. It also alienates certain democratic voters.

1. I am very disappointed in our local state dem party.

With the exception of Shelley & Oscars's organizations - and these are more because of the individual NOT the party - they almost seem to WANT to lose!

I do not consider Reid a democrat - he says some good things, but as a mormon first, he does not represent the heart of what I want - which is progressive policies and univeral equal rights for everyone. He has been strikingly silent on gay rights, and his tepid responses to things progressive - jumping on thet bandwagon only when an issue is proven popular - is really tiring. His constant praising of bunkerboy instead of just remainin silent will forever haunt my memories.
