Who will place 3rd in Nevada?
Am I the only person who thinks that the Libertarians are going to finish way ahead of Nader in Nevada? They have been doing quite a bit of advertising in the Reno area. Maybe its just a regional thing, but having lived in both Vegas and Reno, I see libertarians representing the bulk of the Nevada attitude more than the big parties, even though I still see Kerry as the choice that would best serve everyone in Nevada. I canvass for ACT and I have NEVER had someone tell me they are voting for Nader, but I have had a few people say they will vote Libertarian, and I have registered people as Libertarian. Anyone seen any statistics on the Libertarians in Nevada? I am not recommending the stupid party, just wondering why they aren't getting the coverage. Nader seems like such a non-factor. I think the only reason he polls so high is that he is a protest vote. He only polls high when people offer the three choices together and I wouldn't be suprised if half the people who say they will vote for Nader could tell you much of anything about him or his current campaign. The libertarians are usually hardcore libertarians.
