Shipyard unions back Shea-Porter against Bradley
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. --Unions at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, endorsed Democrat Carol Shea-Porter in the 1st Congressional District race Monday.

The endorsement by the Metal Trades Council came despite U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley's efforts to keep the shipyard open.

Council President Paul O'Connor says Shea-Porter would be a strong voice for change in Washington.
