any cat lovers in NH?

A family member is having to leave NH next week to find work. He has to leave a beloved kittycat who (unfortunately) is pregnant. He has no way to keep the cat -- he has been trying to stay afloat and has no vehicle and little money.

Any ideas where he might find someone who needs a lovely cat? A farm, perhaps?

He's in the Wolfeboro area. I am 3,000 miles away.

Any ideas?
