for a visit soon and I had told them we would go to the Ruggles mine and try gem hunting. I have since found that it is a greater distance than I thought. Are there any other spots in NH where you can rent gear and have a gem finding adventure? The kids are 8 and 10. They willing to do anything and thought this would be fun. By the time we got to Ruggles, we would have very little time before we had to come back.
I live on the North shore of MA and would travel to NH via Rt 93.
Thanks
