grand opening of Berlin office today |
|
In case anyone else is in the far north - the Democratic Party office is having a grand opening at 5:30 tonight, with Doris "Granny D" Haddock as a special guest. She's going to be in Littleton today, and then doing a visit at the mill in Berlin.

1. Too far north for me, but have a great time. The opening in Salem |
|
Derry was so much fun, the cops showed up. It's in a strip mall and they just wanted to know why so many folks were there. Had a turnout of between 80 & 100. Saw Granny D this weekend. She can totally mobilize a crowd. Hope she wins, would love to see Senators try and snub her. Let me know how it goes.

but we didn't attract the cops.
About 40 people showed up, which was good for downtown Berlin on a Wednesday afternoon. Doris was great - the group really enjoyed her. She's staying over and having breakfast downtown in the morning. The guy who owns the restaurant is all excited.
I would love to see her win, too. I wish the state party was putting some energy into her race. It's a shame she's being regarded as merely a cute little old lady. She'd really shake 'em up in Washington.
