Sullivan Challenges Bradley to Support Plame Investigation
(MANCHESTER)- State Rep. Peter Sullivan today called for a congressional inquiry into the disclosure of the identity of CIA officer Valerie Plame, and challenged Republican incumbent Jeb Bradley to support such an investigation.

"The time has come for Congress to assert its oversight responsibility in the area of intelligence and national security. This is no longer about Karl Rove. It is about a White House culture that seems to put a higher value on political tactics than on matters of national security", said Sullivan.

"The individuals who participated in this breach of security must be held accountable for their actions. I support a full Congressional investigation that will review all information and documents related to the Plame affair, and examine who on the White House staff has engaged in a pattern of behavior that jeopardizes national security interests for the sake of partisan gain. If Rep.
Bradley is serious about national security, he must stop making partisan excuses for the inexcusable and support efforts to fully investigate this matter."

Earlier this week, Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ) introduced a Resolution of Inquiry that would compel the White House and key executive branch agencies to produce
all information related to the compromise of the undercover status of CIA officer Valerie Plame. Jeb Bradley has yet to voice his support even for the limited Holt inquiry.
