12 pm 9/11 potluck lunch: Senator Corzine invited. To show solidarity with
our fellow Americans, an AJMA (“congregation”) of the People of Peace and
Justice and friends will march for peace from the American Islamic Academy (110
Harrison, Boonton) to the First Presbyterian Church (Birch Street). There will be
prayer at the Mosque, a short service and a “fatwa” will be read against
terror and violence”. Then, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, and
other will march in harmony. UNITED WE STAND. WE REJECT VIOLENCE. ONE NATION
UNDER GOD. At the Church there will be a multi-faith service.

and others will celebrate The Jewish High Holy days, Ramadan, the Birthday of
Gandhi and the Feast of St. Francis Assisi. Join us in a multifaith service and
build a network of peace activists

AJMA PPJ, The American Islamic Academy, the Center for Understanding Islam,
The United Muslim Political Action Committee and The Presbyterian Churches of
Rockaway, Dover, Boonton and The American Muslim Alliance the Newton Presbytery
are sponsoring the march. Moin Ansari, Dave Mortensen, Rich Kuperman, Zahid
Hasas along with Rev. Jean Holmes, Rev. Dick Sanner and Rev. David Meyers,
Brother Hanif Shaikh, Brother Abbas, Sister Hamida Amanat, Brother Taj Khokhar,
Brother Siddiqui, Sister Farzana Siddiqui, candidate for Parsippany Council
Wasim Khan, Imam Tayyab , Qari Sahib, and Mayor Ali Chaudhry will be hosting the
event. Rabbi Russoff and Rabbi Chernomas have been invited and may attend.
