My neighbor asked me today where he can

register to vote. One can register on line but, he doesn't have a computer. He recently moved here from Seattle, WA.

He's a Liberal Dem :)

I've tried google but, haven't found anything on registering in person.

I'd let him use my computer but, maybe he wouldn't feel comfortable. We're only a hello - nice day basis. Just talked a little tonight about Reagan and he started about Iran/Contra etc. Said bush looks like he's going to snap any day, LOL. I love it!

Anyone know where to register to vote in person - Middlesex County.

1. While youre checking that out, find out about absentee ballots.

A phone call to the county office, or your local state representative or senator can get both sets of information/forms for anyone. I'm reminding everyone (at least every Dem and level-headed independent) I know who travels in their work to get an absentee ballot well in advance of the election, just in case they are away from their voting precinct on election day.

League of Women Voters. In our state we have voter registration forms in libraries and post offices.

4. Try the Dept of Motor Vehicles...

Post offices, city hall. You might call some of those to check. Good luck!

6. Have him go to his city clerk's office....

... they can direct him, or register him, depending upon local law. If you mean Middlesex County, MA, he should not have to go to the county offices in Cambridge to register.

11. Beat me to it...

and I guess no one bothered to note this was in the NJ state forum.

Anyway, each county does have its own Board of Elections, and I went to mine when I moved and registered in all of about 5 minutes.

Before that, I went to the DMV, and even though MotorVoter was in effect for months, no one in the Motor Vehicles office had any idea what I was talking about.
