Dear Editor:
Scott Garrett is abusing his right to send mail for free. This right, known as franking, which is given to all members of Congress, is waste if it is used for campaigning purposes. Ironically, waste is what he claims "too many programs" are rife with in his August 23rd letter to his constituents (one of many). And yet he goes on and on about what wonderful bills he supports and what terrible things he opposes. Good news is great, Scott, and you might be a great man -- but you should be using your own money to give us this news, instead of wasting the post office's time and the taxpayer's money.
Sincerely,
Kire Hackettstown, NJ
