The NewJersey_for_Kerry Yahoo! group is unmoderated and has been attacked by a spammer.

Therefore, we have started our own Yahoo! group,

Please join so that we can organize on-line statewide. Already, 14 people have joined overnight out of protest.

I am moderating it so that posts from new users have to be verified before they get listed. Therefore, tonkingulfyachtclub will never bother us again.

I have sent emails to the campaign to allow me to do that. I would be happy to be the moderator there, too.

In any case, NJforKerry is the same name as the URL for the official Kerry campaign website for New Jersey, http://www.NJforKerry.org

I already have the support of the state wide meetup coordinator for NJ for Kerry. We are trying to get our new Yahoo! group listed on JohnKerry.com (alongside the other one is fine with me).

PLUS, I think it's easier to remember NJforKerry than NewJersey_for_Kerry.

I admit, I created it impulsively and out of anger for the overwhelming smear from tonkingulfyachtclub. I am not angry with the campaign. I just thought it would be cool to have a moderated statewide Yahoo! group. Apologies to anyone who got the wrong idea.
