NJ for Brozak, Wolfe
Just watched Brozak give a great speech at the convention. We should get some good publicity from patriotic Republicans switching their registration and allegiance to the Democratic party. We've watched so many go the other way over the years.

Now that the Kerry direct fundraising is about over, it's time to get behind our local candidates.

Lt. Col. Brozak should have a good chance unseating Ferguson.

Garrett is completely unrepresentative of most of his district. Wolfe is a much better candidate than we had two years ago.

It'd be great to contribute two seats towards bringing Democratic control back to the House.

Political newcomer blasts Bush's policy in Iraq and beyond

The Express-Times

Speaking Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention, New Jersey's 7th Congressional District challenger Steve Brozak urged the election of presidential candidate John Kerry and vowed to work with the Democrat to undo the Bush administration's damage to the nation's world image and economy.

Brozak, a retired Marine lieutenant colonel, spoke about his experiences as a Marine reservist who went to Kuwait and Iraq to survey the effects of extended deployment on reservists' careers and home lives.

He sharply criticized the Bush administration's decision to go to war in Iraq on questionable grounds and its failure to plan a way to withdraw once a democratic government had been established.

Brozak, who is co-founder of a Wall Street investment firm, said he will work to build a "stronger and more respected" United States if he is elected.

"This Marine will proudly follow John Kerry to battle," he said
