1. I"m fighting against Pearce bigtime

since I can't decide on a presidential candidate in the primaries, I'm putting my energy to getting Pearce (R-Oilwhore) out of DC

2. Wow, fast response.

I've been fighting against Heather for years. You've had some good alternative choices in the south, but the people who have run against Heather haven't been all that great. Even if she wasn't a die hard republican who votes the party line, she too is a pathetic congress person.

I've been hearing that "Sneaky Pete" has been dying for the past decade. I equate him to Mr. Burns on the Simpson's, since he just seems to never die. There is a story going around that Sneaky Pete showed up at Congress in his PJs. I've seen it on the web and heard it from someone involved in the Democratic party in ABQ, so it may well be true. It is way past the time to get him out and put a progressive into office. I have the politics of the North where I grew up, and yet here I am in the ABQ. I guess they don't need any more progressive voters in the north anyway.

3. Yep, Domenici is an asshole

I'm a former NM resident who should've never left, but that's another story. :^) When I lived there, I wrote him a letter about clearcutting, and rather than the usual bullshit from politicians that usually at least PRETENDS to be friendly and/or gives lip service to your concerns, he actually basically said something like we disagreed a lot... it's been a number of years, but I remember it being kind of cranky, which only made ME cranky was well.

I also have never figured out how NM can continue to elect Bingaman AND Domenici ... it's like the voters are schizophrenic.

of those self proclaimed "good Christians," are evil and do such "unchristian" like things?! I've been hoping Domenici drops dead while Billy is governor so he'll appoint a decent Dem to that position.
