We are going to Albuquerque in the morning for a family reunion and going to the balloon fest.

I drove through your state years ago and just love it.

for this week-end, and a sky full of balloons! Be sure you go to one of the balloon glows. Eat plenty of chile and visit old town. My ancestors lived there in the 1700s, and lots of them were married in the church there. BUT, you absolutely must ride up the tramway. The first week-end it opened in the mid 1960s. my father drove us all from our home in Santa Fe to be among the first to ride up. It was great then and 40 years later, I still get excited every time I ride up to the crest.
