1. Tweety said after the last Dem Debate that he thought Richardson was setting himself

up for a run for Senator. He based this on the fact that Richardson didn't accept matching funds which would allow him to transfer any funds he's raised for a Presidential run to a Senatorial Campaign war chest

it would be MUCH better to have Udall than Chavez.

"Incidentally, I also heard yesterday from separate - but equally reliable sources - that Gov. Bill Richardson called Udall yesterday to tell him he DOES NOT plan to run for the Senate and would stay out of Udall's way if the congressman decides to jump in."

7. Everything says he is thinking about, but . . .

hasn't made a decision yet. If he runs, I'll work for him this summer. I've always appreciated all the Udalls and their dedication to our part of the world.
