Is anyone going to Taos for the State convention this weekend?

Anyone here ever been a delegate to the National convention from New Mexico? Got any experience to share? How did you get there? Were there many delegates from New Mexico at the National convention?

Did anyone here go to ABQ for the Pre-Primary Nominating Convention? I guess at the Taos convention, the delegates will be supporting their choice for President. I know that Obama has 2 females and 1 male delegate from New Mexico's 3rd Congressional Dist. This must be based on the votes received in the Primary/Caucus?

Just curious if anyone has any stories to share?

1. I was at the preprimary and was planning on heading to Las Cruces

but I have a family thing that is taking me to Louisiana instead

lots of speeches, you actually 'run' for delegate, I've gotten 5 letters already from guys wanting me to vote for them for delegate.

maybe better to get active in your county party, lots of things to do there and they are always happy for help
