I bought some "pasta salad" from the dollar store, and it tastes like shit!

1. Use this recipe instead.

1 box tri-colored rotini, fixed according to package directions.
green bell pepper. red, orange, and or yellow bell pepper. Altogether about two peppers cut up.
1 small, or half of one larger red onion.
a stalk or two of celery.
1 small zucchini.
one small tomato (this is optional, as I rarely include tomato when I make this)
One jar sweet Italian dressing.

While the rotini is cooking, cut up all the veggies into small pieces. When the rotini is done, rinse it off with cold water and let it drain. Sprinkle with kosher salt and ground black pepper. Toss with the veggies. Pour the dressing. Eat. It's fantastic, and I often get requests for it at family get-togethers or pot-lucks.

2. Noodles and Chicken

Have been eating these from the Dollar Store and they are real good. Tear off the wrapping peel back the foil "lid" add water and microwave for 6 minutes. Very good and only a buck. See them in regular grocery store now.
