Rep. Heather Wilson and Democratic challenger Richard Romero found common ground in their first debate at a Jewish temple when it comes to supporting Israel. Beyond that, the two made clear Sunday there isn't much else they agree on.
The Congressional candidates fielded a host of questions from a packed room during the debate at Congregation Albert.
Romero took the offensive, frequently going after Wilson's record, in front of a lively — and vocal — crowd of about 300.
The race, among those targeted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is an important one as Democrats look to pick up 12 House seats nationally to win a majority.
