The family of a 3-year-old Albuquerque girl taken from her home Tuesday morning was overjoyed after learning that the young girl was found safe and sound.
Albuquerque and Laguna Pueblo police along with FBI agents found Ismyella Rodriguez, 3, with Mario Rodriguez, 24, at the Route 66 Casino and Hotel late Tuesday evening.
Police say Rodriguez forced his way into a Northeast Albuquerque apartment and took the young girl from her babysitter just before noon Tuesday.
An Amber Alert was issued for Ismyella Rodriguez just before 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say the young girl was found with Rodriguez and four other adults in a room at the Route 66 Casino and Hotel around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
