Richardson flops in NH
Gov. Bill Richardson managed to alienate a huge contingent of Democratic activists during his visit to New Hampshire this weekend.

First, Richardson meddled in a hotly contested Democratic primary in NH's first congressional district. Richardson referred to State Rep. Jim Craig as "the next congressman", despite the fact that there are three other serious candidates in the race.

Then, Richardson showed a tin ear by riding in the Manchester St. Patricks parade in a vehicle driven by a pair of local lobbyists for the gambling industry. Casino gambling is a radioactive issue for many NH Dems, and Richardson's decision showed very questionable judgement.
