Was there any fact checking of the Madrid/Wilson debate last night?
I watched the debate, but, I didn't tune in for any post-game show.

However, I was appalled at Wilson's claim that Madrid would shut down
Kirkland. As I recall, in this latest BRAC (Organized by Rumsfeld and
approved by the Congress Wilson is currently serving in.) Wilson basically
allowed the cards to fall where they might and it was a Military group
who halted most of the BRAC closures.

I suppose I could look it up.

1. I've always thought that to be a pretty lame talking point
What congressperson is going to just stand by and let their local military base get shut down? That's a big hit on a local economy.

I didn't watch the entire debate last night, but I didn't think Madrid came off well, especially on the question about lobbyists.

2. Heather has no integrity
Like most GOP candidates these days she will say absolutely anything to win, true or not. That statement will win votes for her so she threw it out there. It is patently false.

3. In Wilson's latest 'scare ad'...
She fails to mention that all of the horrors being shown in the headlines
they flash up over Madrid's picture happened on Wilson's watch during the six
years the Republicans have held one party rule of the Executive, Legislative, and
Judicial branches of the government.

It's not damning of Madrid... It's damning of Wilson and a one party government.
