Ralph Nader and Patti Smith Return to Upstate New York, April 14-16
Ralph Nader and Patti Smith Return to
Upstate New York, April 14-16
Bring Our Troops Home * End the Iraq War * Rebuild Our Communities

Last month marked the two year anniversary of the U.S. Invasion of Iraq, in over 765 cities across the U.S., thousands called for an end to the U.S occupation of Iraq. Mired in the Iraqi quagmire with casualty tolls rising, and billions of dollars wasted by Bush, 2004 Independent Presidential candidate Ralph Nader and his associates are launching a series of rallies against the Iraq war and occupation. Nader continues to urge President Bush to withdraw the troops from Iraq under a deliberate policy that leaves Iraq for the Iraqis with continued humanitarian assistance. Rock legend, Patti Smith will join Nader and perform at these events.

On the ballot in 34 states and Washington, DC, after a fierce and costly battle with Democrats, who abused, often with corporate Republican law firms, restrictive ballot access laws, Nader and his running-mate Peter Miguel Camejo were the only major anti-war presidential candidates in 2004. Proceeds from this tour will go toward retiring 2004 campaign expenses.

Maintaining his principled pre-election anti-war stance post-election, Nader has already completed a 15-city East and West Coast tour in the last two months. Through these rallies, coupled with other work he and other speakers will detail at the event, Nader is helping to reinvigorate the U.S. anti-war movement and bring the soldiers back home. Nader will also speak about the lack of attention to economic development in Upstate, NY by federal politicians.

1. No words to describe the hypocrisy, selfishness, shortsightedness of RN
You can spin it any way you want, but once the environment is ruined, you can't get it back later. With his help, Scalia becomes chief justice.

3. No, you see, there's no difference between Gore and Kerry and Bush.

Gore or Kerry would also have appointed Scalia Chief, drilled ANWAR, and invaded Iraq. They too had secret plans to end the estate tax, bash gays, and appoint Bolton to the UN. They too were good friends with Tom Delay.

Only St. Ralph can save us.

2. Pretending to be a victim due to his "principles". What a tool.
And he'll probably still say there isn't any difference between democrats and republicans in the same breath he decries Bush's war.

4. Actually it's too depressing to even comment
The republicans only do what comes naturally.
Nader should have known better.
