Are there any NY U.S. Representatives that would make good U.S Senators?

I was just wondering if anyone on here had a Representative that they think would make a good Senator, It's not that I'm don't like Sen. Clinton, and Schumer, it's just that I feel that my Represenative, Maurice Hinchey would make a great Senator, and I feel is more progressive than Clinton and Schumer, but I don't know if he would be able to win the State. So does anyone else have a Representative who they feel would make a good Senator if elected?

2. I heard Anthony Weiner speak

He is good.

3. Weiner used to be Schumers chief of staff

then he went to the City council before winning Schumer's congressional seat. he's good, but wouldn't trade Schumer for him just yet.

5. Charlie Rangel would probably make an excellent senator

He is a great liberal Democrat. But I think Hillary and Schumer are doing a fine job as it is.
