fighter jets?

My sister in Brooklyn has been hearing and seeing fighter jets for a few hours. She's sort of wondering and naturally a little freaked out.
Is there any info out there that I can pass along to her?

That's what we were thinking here in Manhattan. I am at work on the 33rd floor and there they were, a B-52 being trailed by fighter jets. Very uneasy feeling. I am told there's an air show this weekend in association with Fleet Week!

6. Two sets of fighter jets flew over my house ...

within a 20 minute period. I was nervous until I remembered it's Fleet Week. :-)

it sends a chill down my spine, too ... and the memories come rushing back. :-(

I used to love the sound of jets flying overhead ... I loved the roar and the power of it. Since that day, I CAN'T STAND to hear that sound!
