Single Day as well as multiple days available.
Truly a diverse conference -- with people coming from at least 3 other countries and focused on many aspects of Democratic and other schooling philosophies
Democratic Eduction:
Democratic schools generally share most or all of the following characteristics, although there is no exact definition or requirement for a democratic school:
** shared decision-making among the students and staff
** a learner-centered approach in which students choose their daily activities
** equality among staff and students
** the community as an extension of the classroom
http://www.educationrevolution.org/demschool.html They have started setting up at the conference -- if you try to call and can't get an answer PM me and I will give you an alternate number. (I am not an organizer of the event -- just a participant from Ohio)
