1. this is my district, and frankly I'm surprised . . .

John Hall has a lot of support from the entertainment community -- Graham Nash, Pete Seeger, and Bonnie Raitt, to name a few -- and the fact that he trails so badly in the fund raising race is not comforting . . . he's hired some high powered staffers with lots of experience, and you'd think they'd have a distinct edge in this department . . . I hope Trippi gets their act together and starts some innovative fund raising, or John's chances will be greatly diminished . . . and we NEED him in Congress! . . .

2. I think that Hall has the best shot of beating Kelly

I think that it will be up to Trippi to provide the cash. Frontloading was Hall's only campaign choice to remain viable. It will be up to Trippi to pull this out. I think that it can be done.
